What gets synced
Instances — the game version, loader, mods folder, and configs — are packaged and uploaded when they change, then pulled down on any other device you sign in from. Your save worlds stay local by default so huge world folders don't creep into backups.
Safe by construction
- Automatic cloud backups — a snapshot is kept before a sync overwrites anything
- Change detection — only what actually changed gets uploaded, not the whole folder every time
- Per-account isolation — sync state is keyed to your account, never mixed between machines blindly
How to use it
- Sign in with your XMlauncher account on both machines.
- Enable Cloud Sync for the instances you want to follow you.
- Play anywhere — the newest state follows you, with a backup behind every change.
Fixes in one click
When this feature detects the problem, these are the actions it can apply for you.
- Restore from backup — rolls an instance back to its last cloud snapshot
- Force re-sync — re-uploads the local instance when a device drifted out of date
